2018: Researchers in this laboratory undertook the teaching tasks of most of the main courses of biology and ecology in Zhejiang University this year, with a total of 2600 hours for undergraduates and 288 hours for postgraduates.            

Courses for undergraduates majoring in biological sciences include zoology and experiment (A), developmental biology, developmental biology experiment, molecular biology (A), ecology and experiment (A), biochemistry (A), biochemistry experiment (A), biostatistics and experimental design, Microbiology and experiment (A), cytogenesis. Major courses in physics and experiment (A), genetics and experiment, botany and experiment (A).            

The courses for undergraduate students majoring in biotechnology are: graduation thesis (design), animal biology and experiment, developmental biology, developmental biology experiment, molecular biology (A), biochemistry (A), biochemistry experiment (A), biostatistics and experimental design, Microbiology and experiment (A), cell biology. And experiments (A), genetics and experiments, plant biology and experiments, etc.            

Courses of undergraduate ecology include: Conservation Biology (A), Graduation Thesis (Design), Metabolic Ecology and Experiments, Zoology and Experiments (A), Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, Ecology Foundation and Experiments, Biostatistics and Experimental Design, Microbiology and Experiments (A), Botany and Experiments.（ A) Population ecology and other major courses.            

Postgraduate courses include: chemical biology, biological experiments and data processing, genomics, biochemical experimental techniques, genomics topics, cell signal transduction, cell engineering, modern biochemical instrumental analysis and detection technology, molecular virology and immunology, computational biology, organogenesis. Courses on cellular and molecular mechanisms, system and molecular evolution, animal behaviour, introduction to biodiversity, global change biology, avian ecology, conservation genetics, modern molecular biology, graphic combination design and paper writing, basic and frontier of life science research, frontier and progress of life science research, etc. It covers all the courses of the second-level discipline and the First-Level Discipline of ecology under the First-Level Discipline of biology.            

Professor PI Dingping of the Laboratory won the first prize of high quality teaching in Zhejiang University in 2018.            

The Hangzhou Flora (three volumes) and Hangzhou Flora Volume 2 compiled by Professor PI Chengxin of the Laboratory were used as textbooks of Botany and Experiment for undergraduates of Zhejiang University in 2018.            

After the national excellent resource sharing course Botany, chaired by Professor PI Fu Chengxin, was officially approved in 2016, it continued to improve some of its contents in 2018.            

The provincial educational reform project Research-oriented and International Teaching Practice and Innovation of Botany chaired by Professor PI FU Chengxin passed acceptance in 2018.
